Chihoro /ʈʃihɵrɵ/ is a Zimbabwean born artist whose main medium of expression happens to be poetry. Having grown up both in Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom, she feels privileged to have been able to view life from many different perspectives. Having recently "woken up" and disassociated from high control religion, Chihoro began attending and performing at poetry open mics in London as a way of finding a like-minded community.

She now posts her work avidly to her TikTok and Instagram accounts (both @_chihoro). In future, she hopes to start businesses that help to educate, empower and inspire black youth. She also aspires to creating a Marvel-esque youth franchise consisting of graphic novels, tv series and films inspired by her Zezuru and Rozvi heritage and would encompass as many tribes languages and cultures as possible from Africa.
