Jahmila is a performance artist and actress from London. Her poetry work has a theatrical flow, experimental rhythm and is rooted in ancestral knowledge. Influenced by Jamaican folklorist and literature genius, MBE Louise Bennett-Coverley, Jahmila enjoys couplets and accent play within her spoken and written word.
