Kavita K. Hansla is a London-based poet, spoken word artist, and storyteller whose performances are often described as "powerful" and "unforgettable." Known for her ability to weave humour, vivid storytelling, and sharp wordplay, she creates an experience that deeply resonates with audiences and lingers long after the final word.
With over 100 performances under her belt, Kavita has brought her unique voice to a variety of stages, from the Wandsworth Arts Fringe and Generation Hackney to the iconic Jawdance at Rich Mix. Her commanding stage presence and evocative delivery have earned her opportunities to feature and headline shows across London and beyond. Her written work has found a home in publications like Kite String, King’s Cross Word Space Magazine, where her words continue to reach readers in fresh and meaningful ways.
In 2024, Kavita expanded her creative horizons by sharing her work in schools, colleges, and businesses, connecting with new audiences. She also launched her Instagram page, @kavitalks, a vibrant space for her live videos, page poetry, and original illustrations. With Kavita meaning "poetry" in Hindi, it was clearly meant to be!
