Nia is a 19-year-old Bengali medical student born to immigrant parents and raised in the bustling city of London. The constant struggle of identity and reclaiming her culture while growing up in such a westernised society often inspired her to channel hurt and pain through poetry; regularly acting as a salve for deep wounds and blossoming into something despondently beautiful.
