Sariah Lake, also known by the pen name “sari kay”, is a young writer from the British Virgin Islands. She is passionate about mental health and social change through a West Indian lens. Sariah’s work has appeared in the BVI Beacon, Afro Literary Magazine, Seaglass Literary Magazine, and others. She also releases her work independently through her blog “Sari’s Shelves” and accompanying Instagram page @sariwrites_

She believes that writing and education can unlock nearly anything and aims to create impactful work which reflects this.
